My bar code art explores the process of making art with information and technology. As a computer artist I am in the business of selling 0's and 1's. The bar code represents automation, efficiency, and commodities. It is the universal icon for the computer revolution.

Yiying Lu
Born in Shanghai, China on Dec 2nd. I moved to Sydney in 2002 to study Design, with love of platypuses and wombats. In 2006, I went on an exchange study in London at Central St Martins College of Art and Design. While there, I studied advertising, illustration and Little Britain. In 2007, I graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with First-Class honours in Bachelor of Design Visual Communication.
